Visiting Hours
Visitors are welcome at any time. Restrictions may be made according to the patient's need for quiet and rest, as condoned by the supervising physician. All visiting children must be accompanied by an adult.
Patient Meals / Room Service
Pullman Regional Hospital is pleased to offer Room Service to our guests. To make your stay with us as comfortable as possible, our Room Service allows you to order meals when it is convenient for you. Unlike many health care facilities, there are no regularly scheduled meal times. When you are ready to eat, simply dial 7541 using the phone in your room and place your order. There is no extra charge for Room Service and you may order as often as you like. Here are additional things you should know:
- Room Service is available daily from 7 am to 10 am for breakfast, and 11 am to 7 pm for lunch and dinner.
- Please consult with your nurse when selecting your food delivery time in order to coordinate your treatment schedules and after ordering your food so that they can prepare you for your meal.
- If you have been placed on a special diet by your Doctor, please let our Room Service clerk know so we can assist you in the appropriate meal selection. You may also request a visit with our on-staff dietitian.
- After hours and between meal snacks and beverages are also available. Ask one of our nursing staff for assistance.
- There is no additional cost associated with Room Service.
Your Room
We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible. You are welcome to bring your own personal care products and clothing. If you need additional items (toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, shampoo, etc), please ask your nurse.
Valuables
We encourage you to send jewelry, watches, etc. home with your family. If this is not possible, we will secure your valuables in our safe until discharge.
The Bed
Your bed has been designed to offer maximum comfort and mobility. Depending upon your condition, the head and foot of the bed can be raised and lowered using the controls located on the siderail. There are additional comfort measures that your nurse can provide upon request, including egg crate mattresses, pillows, warmed blankets, ear plugs and more. In addition, a call light is provided for you to request assistance.
Climate Control
The climate in each room is controlled by individual automatic thermostats. Please inform your nurse if you are uncomfortable so adjustments can be made. Fans are also available upon request.
Patient Comfort Options (available upon request):
- CD Players/CDs
- Warmed blankets
- Daily newspapers, magazines, and books
- Family/Visitor overnight accommodations
- Personal care (toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.) items for family members
Medication Therapy
It is highly recommended that you bring your medications from home that you routinely use. This allows the nursing and pharmacy staff to easily identify these medications using the label on each bottle so that they are continued during your hospital stay. Once the identification has been completed the medications can be sent home with a family member or friend. If you have questions about your medication, please ask to see one of our registered pharmacists.
Medical Nutrition Therapy
If you have questions about your meal plan at the hospital or about meal planning at home, please ask to see our registered dietitian, Marilyn Burch.
